“AsicBoost” Mining is Available in ViaBTC on Oct 26th

Dear ViaBTC users,

Recently, Bitmain has released a new firmware for Antminer S9 supporting the "AsicBoost" function. According to Bitmain, through mining with “AsicBoost”, miners can increase profits along with cost savings as a result of power consumption reduction.

We are glad to inform you that “AsicBoost” mining has been available in ViaBTC since Oct 26th, 2018 (UTC). All the AsicBoost miners (including the miners enabling AsicBoost functionality through updating firmware) can mine BTC and BCH in ViaBTC pool.

Schedule:

1. BTC mining: 10:00 October 26th (UTC)
2. BCH mining & BTC/BCH One-click switch: 2:00 October 31st (UTC)

Please note that there is no need to modify mining settings for miners already mining in ViaBTC pool, for your AsicBoost mining will be automatically supported.
