Dear ViaBTC Users,
To enhance the user experience of Collateral-Pledged Loans, ViaBTC will conduct a major service upgrade starting on October 9, 2025 at 15:00 (UTC+8). The upgrade is expected to take around 1 hour, during which the service will be temporarily unavailable. Please note the following key points:
1. Service Suspension and Upgrade Schedule
Suspension Time: October 9, 2025, 15:00 (UTC+8)
Estimated Resumption: October 9, 2025, 16:00 (UTC+8)
During this period:
- New loan requests will be suspended;
- Submission of “Collateral Repayment” orders will be suspended;
- All pending trading orders will be canceled first. After that, the loan will be settled based on the execution results.
Please manage your loans in advance to avoid interruptions during this period.
2. Upgrade Details and Rule Changes
1) Interest Rate Adjustment
Tiered rates are no longer applied. A 9.9% APR will apply to all active loans once the upgrade is completed.
If you do not accept this rate adjustment, please close your position manually before October 9, 2025, 10:00 (UTC+8). Positions retained after this time will be considered as acceptance, and interest will accrue under the new rate rules after the upgrade.
2) Multi-Collateral Position Consolidation
If you currently hold collateralized loans in multiple coins, they will be automatically merged into a single consolidated position after the upgrade. All loan and collateral assets will be converted into USDT for calculation.
*Supported collateral coins include BTC, BCH, LTC, and DOGE.
3) More Flexible Borrowing Limits
The minimum amount per loan will be lowered to 50 USDT, with no maximum borrowing limit.
The estimated duration of the system upgrade may vary from the actual time required. The new rules will take effect once the upgrade is completed.
ViaBTC reserves the final right of interpretation for this announcement.
