ViaBTC has a comprehensive functionality that can provide you with deposit and withdrawal services. You can view all supported currencies on the "Assets" page after logging into your ViaBTC account. Below are some frequently asked questions regarding deposits and withdrawals for your reference.
1. What should I do if I haven't received my cryptocurrency?
Complete Cryptos in 3 simple steps: Transfer ➞Block Confirmations ➞ Credited.
Normally, a TXID will be generated automatically in time after you initiate a transfer, which means that the assets have been transferred to the blockchain after a TXID has been generated. The arrival time will depend on the number of the required confirmation(s) set by the receiving platform.
Since the number of required confirmations and the blockchain network for different cryptocurrencies may vary, the final arrival time for each transfer is different too. Taking Bitcoin as an example, if the BTC network is congested or the transfer fee is too low, it may result in the delayed confirmation of the transaction. Additionally, there is no requirement for confirmation and fee if you use Inter-user Transfer and Transfer to CoinEx.
2. Can I cancel my withdrawal? What should I do if my withdrawal fails?
If your withdrawal is currently being processed or has already been sent, it cannot be canceled. Additionally, if the withdrawal fails, the assets will automatically be returned to your account, and you can make the withdrawal again later.
3. How to check the status of my transfer?
You can check the status of your transfer in [Assets]-[Deposit & Withdrawal History].
4. What should I do if I deposit/withdraw to the wrong address/network?
For withdrawal: Digital currency transactions are irreversible. Once withdrawn, only the receiver can return the coin to you, so ViaBTC is unable to help you. In this case, we suggest you contact the recipient platform for further assistance.
For deposit: Since we do not support cryptocurrency deposits with the smart contract, if you deposit to ViaBTC using this method, we will try to assist you in the recovery process, but we cannot guarantee 100% success. Additionally, since the recovery process requires additional technical efforts, there may be a service fee involved. Please contact customer service for specific details.
If you deposit via the wrong network or deposit unsupported cryptos on ViaBTC, we cannot assist you in retrieving it.
Note: Please check the guidance provided on the asset page before making a transfer to avoid unnecessary loss of assets.
5. Why does the withdrawal fee go up and down?
Usually, the withdrawal fee is determined by the congestion of the block network, and it is also proportional to it. Therefore, the miner fees vary depending on the network congested even for the same crypto, and the withdrawal fees will fluctuate as well.
To guarantee instant confirmation of your transaction, ViaBTC will calculate and readjust to optimal withdrawal fees based on the real-time crowdedness of the blockchain network accordingly.
Please refer to the amount displayed on the withdrawal page.
6. What can I do when deposits or withdrawals are suspended?
ViaBTC may temporarily suspend deposit or withdrawal services under certain circumstances. The duration of the suspension will depend on the situation. During the suspension period, you can still deposit and withdraw using other available coins on ViaBTC. Meanwhile, you can stay updated on the wallet service status through the following method. Once the service is restored, ViaBTC will notify you via "email, APP notifications (need to turn on the phone system notification)," etc., only once.
Set a resumption reminder on the deposit or withdrawal page.
Note:
Your deposits or withdrawals may be delayed during the suspension period. They will typically be processed automatically after the service resumes. If your transaction is still pending after service resumption, please submit a ticket to contact us.
Please feel free to submit a ticket if your concerns are not mentioned above.
