1. Introduction
Fractal Bitcoin (FB)
Homepage White Paper Explorer Exchanges
Fractal Bitcoin is a Bitcoin scaling solution that aims to achieve unlimited expansion through an infinite recursive mechanism without breaking the Bitcoin Core protocol while maintaining compatibility with the existing Bitcoin infrastructure.
FB utilizes the SHA-256d algorithm, the same as BTC and BCH, enabling BTC miners to engage in the mining process.
2. Merged Mining
Merged Mining refers to a process where miners provide hashrate that not only earns mining rewards from the primary coin being mined but also generates additional rewards from other coins. This means that a single unit of hashrate can earn multiple rewards.
For example, in the case of FB, miners connecting their BTC hashrate to ViaBTC (the payment method needs to be PPS+ or PPLNS) will automatically receive FB without needing to take any additional actions.
For more information on Merged Mining, please refer to What’s Merged Mining?
3. Mining Reward
BTC miners can earn FB rewards by selecting both PPS+ and PPLNS. There is no fixed distribution ratio for FB, and the settlement method for FB is PPLNS, meaning that rewards for mining in the BTC pool will be distributed to miners proportionally based on their real hashrate, resulting in variable amounts of FB received.
After the miner has been stabilized for around 10-15 minutes, you can check the operation status and profits via the Workers and Earnings page on Pool. You can also download ViaBTC App to view the related data at any time.
4. Assets Management
You can check your free earned FB in [My Assets]. We will soon introduce several transfer methods to give you greater flexibility in managing your FB assets. Support for automatic withdrawals (with zero fees and daily payment), withdrawals to CoinEx exchange (with zero fees and real-time processing), and internal transfers will be synchronized today. Future support for manual withdrawals and conversions will also be provided.
