How to configure the mining rig?

ASIC miners support a variety of mining options, including BTC, BCH, LTC, DASH, HNS.

1. Stratum URL

2. Create worker

Create a worker in the form of "UserID.workerID" and any password (optional) for it. Worker ID should consist of numbers and lowercase letters with no longer than 64 characters.

E.g. If your user ID is viabtc, your worker name could be "viabtc.001". Password is optional.

3. Mining Configuration

Take Antminer for example. After logging in, go to "Status" - "Miner Configuration" for pool setting and click "Save&Apply" to start mining.

To ensure stable mining status, we recommend all users to set multiple ports, thus the miners will be systematically switched to the next port and continue working if one of them drops.

CPU/GPU miners support mining ETC, ZEC, CKB.

If my miner is disconnected, how to fix it?

The status will become active after the miner has been stabilized, which might usually takes around 10 to 20 minutes. Please check your settings on the dashboard if the worker keeps producing invalid shares. If the issue is still unsolved, please send us a ticket at https://support.viabtc.com/hc/requests/new.

Why do I need to set multiple Stratum URLs?

We recommend setting multiple stratum URLs to ensure stable and sustainable mining. Should one of them is inactive, the miner will switch to the next one successively.

Recommended settings are as follows:

Stratum URL 1: ViaBTC pool port 443

Stratum URL 2: ViaBTC pool port 25

Stratum URL 3: other pool’s stratum address
