Identical BTC / BCH / BSV deposit address
Since some users easily get confused with BTC / BCH / BSV deposit address, to guarantee the maximum protection of your asset and avoid confusion, ViaBTC has set the same deposit address for these three coins. After each deposit, ViaBTC will identify your coin and process it systematically so please rest assured.
Difference between BCH/BTC addresses
BTC and BCH share the same address on CoinEx, even though they have different formats. You may find their differences in the description section.
BCH
Legacy (P2PKH) address: start with prefix "1".
Segwit (P2SH) address: start with prefix "3".
CashAddr address: start with prefix "q" or “bitcoincash:qxxx" (bitcoincash: is option here).
BTC:
Legacy (P2PKH) address: start with prefix "1".
Segwit (P2SH) address: start with prefix "3".
Segwit (bech32) address: start with prefix "bc1".

Tips:
If you are not sure about the address type to receive or send cryptos, legacy address (start with "1") would be safe to use. If you have any other questions about the compatibility of the withdrawal address, please contact recipient platform for further assistance.
What should I do if it says incorrect BCH address?
The common reason for this notification may be that the format by default is different from the one you used.
When your address is not compatible for transfer, you may convert the BCH address via following 2 methods:
Method 1:
1. Visit http://www.viabtc.com, log in to your account and click [Assets] to enter [My assets] page.
2. Select BCH on [My assets] page, and click [Deposit] to enter deposit page.
3. Click [Switch To CashAddr] or [Switch To Legacy] under the QR code to get the address format as needed.
Method 2: Use a Converter
1. Visit www.explorer.viawallet.com/bch/tool/address-converter, enter the BCH address, and click [Convert] to get the address format as needed.
