The mechanism for a mining pool is that the pool continues to send out calculation tasks to miners and miners submit results to the pool. But sometimes when network delay happens, miners’ submissions during the period won’t be admitted by the pool as it has gone invalid. Reject rate is invalid submissions against the total.
Where can I check the rejection rate?
- After your ViaBTC account is signed in, click the pool you wish to check
- You may choose to check the rejection rate in every 10 minutes, per hour, per day in Hashrate Chart.
Y-axis to the left represents the hashrate corresponding to the blue curve in the chart while Y-axis to the right represents the rejection rate corresponding to the black curve in the chart. Instead of paying attention to the curve, please do be aware of the horizontal value.
- After your ViaBTC account is signed in, navigate to [Pool]
- Enter the pool you wish to check on. You may choose to check the rejection rate in every 10 minutes, per hour, per day in Hashrate Chart.
What is the normal range of rejection rate? What should I do if I am out if it?
The normal range of rejection rate is within 3%. If a dramatic increase occurs, it may be caused by internet instability, which doesn’t happen often. Please check your internet connection if it lasts too long. If this issue still persists even after the miner is configured correctly and the Internet connection is stable, please contact our manager.
