What is an authorized account?
It is an account that you authorize and has access to your account. It may help you to manage miners, oversee hashrate fluctuations and prevent others from changing your account settings.
Each account needs to be authorized separately. An account or sub-account can have multiple authorized accounts at the same time that have access to your account information but cannot change any settings for this account. Whenever needed, you may have them unauthorized.
How can I authorize an account?
You can authorize hosting via [Settings] - [Account setting] - [Authorize Hosting] and synchronize the following data to another user: Miner monitoring, hashrate fluctuation, income summary etc.
Please click [Add Authorization] to fill authorizer’s email address or phone number, the account or sub-account to be authorized and the two-factor authentication code to finish authorization.
You can cancel authorization by clicking [Revoke Authorization].
Please note that data synchronization of the main account is not available for sub-accounts. If you need to authorize the hosting of a sub-account, please authorize it separately.
How can I check the hosting sub-accounts under other accounts?
After your ViaBTC account is signed in, leave your cursor hanging on the menu of [Hosting] to switch to the account or sub-accounts that you wish to check.
- After your ViaBTC account is signed in, tap on [Pool].
- Tap on your account in the top left corner to enter [Account]. In “Hosting” section, you may check the sub-accounts under other accounts by tapping on it.
